You will be working on modern React-powered applications, incorporating modern front-end development techniques with the cutting edge of biology. You will build best-in-class experiences on the web for customers to discover, explore, and purchase the entire 10x Genomics product line. What you will be doing
- Designing, building, testing, and shipping production-ready software.
- Developing interactive web based applications.
- Collaborating with designers to create flexible, attractive visual components.
- Creating pages and workflows in scientifically-focused software applications.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, math, or scientific discipline AND 6 years of software development experience; OR 8 years of professional experience building software.
- 3 years of experience building web applications in React.
Preferred skills and experience
- Experience testing and deploying applications to the web.
- Knowledge of modern Javascript syntax and CSS features.
- Familiarity with TypeScript.
- Familiarity with Postgres or other modern relational databases.
- Experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs
- Willingness to solve problems irrespective of where it is in the tech stack.
- A background in biology is not required, but curiosity and scientific interest is.

Below is the U.S. base pay range for this full-time position. The actual base pay will depend on several factors unique to each candidate, including one’s skills, qualifications, experience, and location. At 10x, base pay is also just one component of the Company’s total compensation package. This role is also eligible for 10x’s equity grants, its comprehensive health and retirement benefit programs, and its annual bonus program or sales incentive program.
