Heartbeat: Building a virtual power plant levering our energy manager “Heartbeat” and evolving the customer experience app around this
Operating System for installation companies: Digitisation of operations and processes from ground operations to rooftop installations
As a Platform Engineer, you will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams that are building those systems to identify and address any technical challenges or bottlenecks. You will improve our internal developer platform to reduce your teammates’ cognitive load and enable them to focus on solving business problems. The DORA (DevOps Research and Assessment) metrics are KPIs to measure your success.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Enabling developer self-service by developing reusable, opinionated IaC modules
Develop software and establish systems to effectively handle the platforms infrastructure and applications
Offer primary operational assistance and infrastructure expertise for our engineering teams
Ensure good developer experience/productivity
Improve DORA (DevOps Research and Assessment) metrics
- 2+ years of experience in a Platform Engineering (DevOps), Site Reliability, or comparable Cloud Engineering position
Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles, with a focus on Terraform
Good experience working with a public cloud provider, ideally Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and a solid understanding of its core services and offerings
Deep understanding and hands-on experience with container-based infrastructure (Docker, Google Cloud Run, Kubernetes)
Ability to code with one or more high-level languages, such as Python, GoLang or TypeScript
A proactive approach to spotting problems, areas for improvement, and performance bottlenecks
Strong customer-centric mindset with a deep understanding of the importance of enabling exceptional developer experiences
Very good knowledge of spoken and written english, german is a plus
Residency in Germany
Interest in climate tech industry
Prior experience with IoT applications
Having worked in a scale up environment at a company of similar size
