The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a Product Platform Quality and Regulatory Leader, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
- Supporting Quality and Regulatory for New Product Introduction (NPI) teams for products within the Advanced Materials and Transportation Product Platform.
- Supporting Existing Products needing change management (CMP) within the Advanced Materials and Transportation Product Platform.
- Working with global laboratory and product quality employees, corporate research lab, and enterprise supply chain to reduce total cost of quality.
- Driving continuous improvement in quality performance.
- Managing Product Stewardship for the platform. Removing barriers with corporate product stewardship and other global support organizations. Supporting 3M PFAS initiatives.
- Enforcing business and industry requirements.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a Science, Engineering, Mathematics or Statistics discipline (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
- Nine (9) years combined experience in regulatory, or quality in a private, public, government or military environment
- Experience in a Regulated Industry or an Industry with Higher Standards/Requirements
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Previous Quality Manager experience working in a Key Account-type market
- Previous experience in Product Stewardship or Regulatory
- Master’s degree or higher in Science, Engineering, Mathematics or Statistics or related discipline from an accredited institution
- Five (5) years of experience working in a global organization
- Demonstrated experience with NPI and CMP in a regulated industry/industry with higher standards
- Experience working on and organizing multiple priorities
- Exceptional organization, as well as written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with continuous improvement methodologies including DMAIC, Core Tools, APQP.
- Quality Systems experience and understanding
- Ability to work cross-functionally with manufacturing, laboratory and customer facing organizations.
Travel: May include up to 25% domestic
