As our next Senior Software Engineer, youll work in a small, dynamic team to design and build services that inform and engage parents about their childs learning journey. Youll also contribute to critical integrations with our payment and billing partners, ensuring seamless functionality across the platform.

What you’ll do:

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will:

Develop and maintain robust web applications using Elixir.
Collaborate closely with design, product, and development teams to deliver solutions aligned with project goals.
Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure stability and reliability.
Participate in agile development processes, including code reviews and team retrospectives.

What you’ll bring to the team:

Senior-level experience with a backend language, e.g., Elixir, Ruby on Rails.
Strong problem-solving skills and a pragmatic, team-player attitude.
Solid knowledge of database management systems (PostgreSQL, MySQL).
Experience with integrating third-party APIs.

It’s a bonus if you have:

Experience with Elixir and GraphQL.
Familiarity with Ember.js or related frontend frameworks.
Knowledge of Kafka or experience with payment/billing systems.
