Major Responsibilities:
- Manage assigned Workday cases that could include but not limited to: symplr adjustments, print/e-mail pay slips, W-2 reprints, remote and cell phone allowance, travel and expense, stop checks, on demands, garnishment cases, subpoena requests, and any other wage requests
- Complete all in office tasks which can include retrieve, sort, and open in office mail, print pay slips, W-2s, completing VOE’s and other documents.
- Work up adjustments and key into symplr Workforce
- Process, monitor, and complete assigned symplr Workforce timekeeping reports.
- Compose e-mails to leaders and/or team members as needed.
- Save and load garnishments into ADP Smart Compliance.
- Research and resolve other non-adjustment payroll cases.
- Run reports and audits within Workday as assigned
Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:
- None Required.
Education Required:
- High School Graduate.
Experience Required:
- Typically requires 3 years of experience in payroll or comparable experience in a fast-paced, high-volume administrative environment.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
- Be able to interpret policies, pay practices, and job aids to complete tasks assigned.
- Advanced knowledge working in various timekeeping and ERP systems (symplr Workforce and Workday preferred)
- Possess strong verbal and written communication skills to be able to communicate effectively through Teams meetings, e-mail, and instant messaging.
- Critical thinking skills to be able to troubleshoot and resolve Workday Help cases.
- Ability to work independently as well as a team by assisting the rest of the payroll team.
- Excellent multi-tasking, organization, note taking, and time management skills to be able to handle meetings, emails, questions, and complete everyday tasks.
- Ability to effectively communicate knowledge of paycheck details, including gross earnings to net pay, taxable wages, tax withholding, pre/post tax deductions, and overtime/additional pay calculations.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Teams
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
- This position is a hybrid position. Required 1 day in office and 4 days remote. (this can change based on business needs)
- May require some travel, therefore, will be exposed to weather and road conditions.
- Operates all equipment necessary to perform the job.
- Exposed to a normal office environment.
- Sits most of the workday, but also may lift, reach, and bend throughout the day
- Must be able to lift to 40 lbs. occasionally
