Job Description

AECOM is seeking a Transportation Planning Lead to work part -time remotely and be based in the Dallas, TX office.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for the overall quality of staff’s work and oversees projects.
Works under minimal supervision.
Directs, manages and evaluates the activities, responsibilities and personnel in an area of planning.
Exercises considerable latitude in determining assignment objectives.
Work is reviewed through consultation and agreement.
Local client relationships and understanding of local markets.

Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

BA/BS + 8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education,

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

BS in Planning or related degree
8+ years of experience in planning and transportation projects
Technical background across a number of key specialty areas related to transportation planning, potentially including demographic/economic analyses, capital infrastructure planning, transit operations, traffic modeling, transportation safety analysis/audits, principles of street design, etc.
Experience managing multidisciplinary projects and/or tasks
Experience with managing people at various experience levels and ability to mentor with their career development.
Knowledge of local clients
AICP certification

Offered rate of compensation in (Texas state-wide) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $60/hour to $80.41/hour.
