Oversees the development and implementation of detailed technology solutions for clients using company products, outsourced solutions or proprietary tools/techniques. Responsible for defining the client needs, developing a proposal to meet those needs, as well as overseeing the implementation of the complete project solution. Performs in both a people management capacity and a technical leadership capacity. Performance is typically measured by the capture of the consulting engagement and/or utilization or performance against budget. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
Provide input in defining operation plans and strategies. Provides input into strategic decisions that impact functional area.
Manages subordinate professional staff, may manage lower level associates through Supervisor/Manager. Works toward objectives established by upper levels of management. Will recommend and implement departmental specific procedures. Assignments are defined in terms of objectives. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect functional area of responsibility.
Objectives for assigned area defined by upper management. Latitude to make decisions to achieve goals. Assists executives in defining operational plans and strategies.
May oversee one or more departments. Seeks new ways to improve department and function within the company. Regularly provides insight into complex issues. Sets implementation strategies and patriciates in creating the company strategic goals.
Managers at this level may become involved in day-to-day activities where their acquired expertise and knowledge provide direction to subordinates. Uses interpersonal skills to influence customers, suppliers and other comparable level managers. A four year college degree (or additional relevant experience in a related field). Minimum of a 4 year degree and 8 years functional experience including a minimum of 5 years position specific experience. Minimum of 5 years supervisory experience preferably managing through subordinate managers. Mastery over subject area, ability to make significant contributions to the company
Responsibilities:
- Be responsible for the overall leadership of the North American Professional team and play a lead role in overseeing the implementation projects in your region. Ensure all new Trifacta customers have successfully deployed the product, implemented production use-cases and completed the initial enablement as part of the initial implementation.
- Work collaboratively with your Sales counterparts during the customer’s buying cycle to identify one or more named use-cases and then scope and attach the right implementation and enablement services for a successful deployment.
- Lead, manage and coach Data Engineers & Solution Architects to provide scalable Data and Analytics solutions using modern Cloud ecosystems.
- Responsible for
- Defining and developing Solutions for customers (scoped SOWs, initial packaged services and ongoing subscription offerings)
- Managing P&L
- Recruiting
- Staffing
- Ensuring Customer Success
- Ensuring successful project delivery
- Provide leadership and guidance for the delivery of projects in the different cloud platforms - AWS, GCP and Azure.
- Integrate and work with technology partners that include Google, Tableau, Snowflakes and other cloud / on-prem data solution vendors.
- Advise and guide a variety of customers from multiple industries to ensure they maximize the value they derive from Trifacta and that they align their data engineering programs with Alteryx’s best practices and key success factors.
- Work closely with the account executives, pre-sales engineers, and customer success managers to provide input into the strategic account plans for key customers.
- Build trusted advisor relationships with customer champions, business partners, project owners, as well as technical staff.
- Act as a thought leader and be a Trifacta advocate by providing technical leadership and guidance to the Trifacta user community through white papers, blogs, community articles, and wrangling challenges.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years experience as a professional services, pre-sales, technical architect, or other technical consulting roles.
- 7+ years of experience demonstrating management and leadership experience, preferably in a data domain and related professional services environment.
- Experience in scoping data management projects for customers.
- Exposure to cloud data warehouse technologies like Snowflake, RedShift, and SQL.
- Ability to understand customers’ technical environments, business requirements and articulate data solutions using Trifacta.
- Previous experience in managing resources, projects and business functions.
- Experience leading the technical delivery of enterprise data management projects.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work remotely and open to some travel (up to 20%).
Relevant:
- Experience with Analytics and Big Data.
- Experience in data preparation or data transformation tools like Trifacta, Alteryx, Informatica BDM, Datameer, Paxata is a plus.
- Experience in cloud ecosystem (AWS, Azure or GCP), Big Data, and familiarity with ETL/ELT Architecture
