Duties and Responsibilities
This role will report to the Arrow-co lead and head of business development to support sales, develop compelling product demonstrations, and assist in onboarding new clients. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between customer needs and technical capabilities, ensuring a smooth transition from prospect to successful client.
- Collaborate with the sales lead to deliver technical product demonstrations, highlighting how Arrow solves client-specific challenges.
- Act as a technical advisor during the sales process, addressing client questions and providing expert insights into the platform’s capabilities.
- Guide potential customers through proof-of-concept (POC) projects, ensuring they understand the platform’s impact on their business.
- Lead the onboarding process for new clients, ensuring a seamless transition from sales to implementation and focusing on rapid product adoption.
- Provide product training to new and existing clients, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to leverage the platform effectively for network planning.
- Work closely with the product and engineering teams to communicate customer feedback, identify feature enhancements, and ensure the product aligns with market needs.
- Create customized presentations and technical documentation highlighting the platform’s value proposition during sales meetings and conferences.
- Support business development by identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities during client interactions.
- Collaborate with marketing to contribute to technical content, such as white papers, case studies, and webinars, to educate prospects and current customers.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proven track record of working in a sales engineering, pre-sales, or technical account management role.
- Ability to work closely with clients to understand their business challenges and tailor product demonstrations to address specific needs.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business problems into technical solutions.
- Familiarity with network expansion planning (e.g., telecom, FTTH) is a plus.
- Experience with geospatial tools, business planning solutions, or GIS is advantageous but optional.
- Ability to work collaboratively with sales, product, and engineering teams.
Experience/Education
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, communications, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in a technical sales or sales engineering role, preferably in the telecom, technology or consulting industry.
- Demonstrated success in driving technical sales processes and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Compensation: $130k - $160k + bonus
Location: United States - can be full time remote
