We are currently seeking a Customer Journey and Engagement Analyst to join our consumer marketing & media team based in our New York, New York headquarters.

JOB SUMMARY 

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Customer Journey and Engagement Analyst to join our team. This role will focus on developing and optimizing customer journeys, enhancing customer engagement, and driving retention for our streaming services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, customer experience, and digital marketing. This role will report to the SVP, Product Strategy and Business Operations. 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Analyze customer data to identify trends, behaviors, and preferences to inform customer journey mapping and engagement strategies
  • Develop and implement customer journey maps to enhance the overall customer experience across all touchpoints, including in-app, CRM, customer service, and paid media
  • Understand and inform audience segmentation strategy and how that informs product innovation and iteration
  • Monitor and analyze customer engagement metrics to assess the effectiveness of engagement strategies and identify areas for improvement
  • Conduct A/B testing and other experiments to optimize customer engagement and retention efforts
  • Proactively pitch product solutions across the customer lifecycle that encourages sampling and acquisition, to reach new audiences or deepen our engagement with existing subscribers and drive customer retention
  • Identify key product strategies and features on partner platforms to help inform our owned and operated product roadmap
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, programming, research, partner management, operations, product, and customer service, to design and execute customer engagement initiatives
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to drive customer-centric decision-making including pricing, packaging and promotional discounting
  • Closely partner with the product organization to keep an up-to-date product roadmap to aid and inform daily decisions within the Streaming and Linear Products division
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in customer engagement and retention

 

QUALIFICATIONS (Required & Preferred) 

  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • 2-5 years of relevant work experience 
  • 3 years of relevant streaming SVOD product experience – prior experience within a subscription environment a plus 
  • Proven experience in customer journey mapping, customer engagement, and retention strategies. 
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights. 
  • Deep passion for product solutions and how they are used to create daily habits with consumers 
  • Obsessive about the consumer and how to solve problems that accrue to business goals and drive strategy 
  • Comfortable working in a matrixed organization with shared ownership of workflows and accountability 
  • Proficiency in CDP’s and data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Mixpanel, mParticle)
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated with a bias for action 
  • Solution-oriented, with an ability to course-correct projects that go off-track in the face of pressure 
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills 
  • Experience in the streaming services industry is a plus 

The base compensation range for this position is $70,000 to $80,000 commensurate with experience.
