We are currently seeking a Manager - Finance to join our finance team based in our New York, New York headquarters.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Own the month-end close process by interacting with stakeholders across Media Ops to build accruals, identify reclasses, and ensure an accurate and timely close
Manage monthly P&L variance analysis for the corporate finance team and Media Ops leadership
Lead the full year budget and forecast process, including managing, iterating, and building sophisticated financial modeling that serve as inputs for Media Ops budget and forecast
Drive monthly meetings with Media Ops teams to gain insight into financial and operational strategies, share P&L variance analysis and update full year forecast as needed
Identify and manage potential P&L risks and opportunities
Partner with project managers, digital and technology teams to manage CAPEX spend, identifying key business drivers for Media Ops CAPEX and supporting projects with financial and business-case modeling
Create reporting dashboards for corporate finance and Media Ops leadership that highlight key financials, business trends and industry analysis not captured on the P&L
Build and oversee financial models to support Media Ops vendor contract renewals, Contracted Labor, new deals, potential initiatives, and ad hoc situations
QUALIFICATIONS (Required & Preferred)
Bachelors degree
5 -7 years of relevant experience
CPA or MBA a plus
Highly energetic, self-motivated, positive attitude
Experience in media or entertainment industry preferred
Strong financial modeling and data analysis experience
Quality verbal and written communication skills, with a demonstrated ease when communicating with leadership to make high level recommendations and influence decision making
Ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables without rigorous oversight
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Word
Prior experience with financial applications (Essbase or related) required
The base compensation range for this position is $100,000 to $110,000 commensurate with experience.
