Responsibilities:

The GFCC Reporting team sits within the GFCC Risk Management team and is responsible for reporting and metrics for GFCC. Responsibilities in this role will include a combination of the following:

  • Work with core teams to gather, define and understand business requirements for reporting requests and participate in planning sessions in collaboration with technology teams;
  • Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Post Implementation Validation (PIV) for new and enhanced reports.
  • Support the maintenance and management of reporting libraries and the team’s Square Page;
  • Perform data analysis to identify trends, outliers, and issues.
  • Identify opportunities to improve data or automate to facilitate the ability to create dynamic reporting and metrics;
  • Conduct ad hoc requests and data pulls for issue management, internal auditors, and regulatory examiners.
  • Prepare reporting materials for various committee meetings.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to promote GFCC reporting and facilitate engagement and usage;
  • Assist in the preparation of communications and presentation materials for various stakeholders and leadership.
  • Support the prioritization of reporting backlog based on business needs and product value.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with both technology and business partners; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously that involve collaboration among multiple teams; a keen attention to detail; strong analytical and technical aptitude; strong communication, writing and editing skills; and a willingness to be a deadline-driven team player. Proven experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is required.

Ideal candidates will meet the qualifications listed below:

  • A minimum of two years of experience in project management, data analysis and reporting, general compliance, or in the broader financial industry;
  • A minimum of two years of experience in Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)/Anti-Money Laundering (AML) compliance, law enforcement, and/or the credit card industry;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including significant experience with PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Extremely organized and detail oriented with a sense of follow through and accountability.
  • Experience with data visualization and reporting tools like Tableau, Power BI.
  • Experience using tools such as Rally and JIRA for Agile projects.
  • Motivated team player and creative self-starter with sharp problem-solving skills;
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Flexibility to accommodate schedules with business partners in various global markets when needed.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Access, Python, SAS, and/or Spark is a plus.
  • Knowledge of American Express Financial Crimes programs is a plus.
  • Experience querying and extracting data from large databases (e.g., Cornerstone, Lumi) using SQL, HQL & BigQuery.

Salary Range: $55,000.00 to $105,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
