Who We Are:

The Enterprise Digital Experiences team (EDX) is responsible for the product management and design of American Express’ proprietary digital products – Amex Mobile App, Americanexpress.com, Amex Offers, Customer Personalization, and Amex communication channels (email, SMS, and push notifications). As a team we are focused on driving engagement, satisfaction, and revenue through a combination of best-in-class user experience, and compelling features and functionality. We have a global remit and, with our partners across the company, we bring the best of American Express’ payment and related services to life through our digital experiences.

The Digital Content Strategy team sits within EDX, and its mission is to position Web and Mobile as a value driver to our customers and drive digital revenue and engagement via a clearly formulated content strategy. Through close partnership with Marketing, Product, and Analytics, the Senior Associate will be responsible for delivering the end-to-end content strategy for logged in Americanexpress.com in the US Market.

The Senior Associate will be responsible for driving engagement and revenue across logged in Americanexpress.com by partnering with internal Marketing teams to support campaigns, provide guidance on content best practices to optimize performance, and oversee the internal content review process in partnership with the Global Personalization Operations team. The ideal candidate for this role will be a skillful communicator, strategic thinker, have experience in digital marketing and/or digital products, lead with a customer-first mindset, and can work cross-functionally (both with Product and Marketing partners) – all while maintaining a solution-oriented attitude in the face of juggling multiple deliverables and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as primary owner of US Web channel marketing
  • Develop and nurture relationships with Marketing partners across American Express to support business objectives, campaigns, and provide content solutions to drive successful marketing in channel
  • Consult on channel and placement strategy, including targeting, copy, user experience, and personalization levers
  • Provide guidance on launch process, partnering with Operations and Development teams to ensure timely campaign launches
  • Work with key partners to develop Test & Learn strategies to improve personalized content and user experience, share results, and evaluate outcomes to optimize future campaigns
  • Assist with new product launches and enhancements, overseeing content delivery via seamless campaign launches

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Minimum 1-3 years of Digital Marketing, Marketing Operations or Project Management experience
  • Previous experience with digital products and/or content marketing preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to build relationships and influence cross functional partners
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills; having a strong attention to detail, focus on quality, handling multiple priorities, and managing tight timelines
  • Comfortable with analyzing numerical data and multi-variant tests; working in Excel, Tableau and JIRA, and has the ability to draw insights and make impactful recommendations based on data
  • Ability to think creatively and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-starter, enthusiastic, and results-driven
  • Proactive and eager to learn, with ability to work independently

Salary Range: $60,000.00 to $110,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
