How will you make an impact in this role?
Looking to join a team in technology that is dynamic, fast paced and forward looking? Partner to establish a new foundation in Business & Vendor Management in the Technology organization as a Vendor Analyst for a broad spectrum of Technology products focused specifically on Technology infrastructure (e.g. telecom, networking, server, storage, data center solutions and other managed services).
This role reports into the Director of Vendor Management – Infrastructure and can be based in Phoenix, AZ or New York. The team is part of a larger Business & Vendor Management organization that is responsible for the ongoing governance and oversight of its strategic third parties.
We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in contract management to ensure optimal value from the contractual terms of our vendor agreements via effective management of commercial and service level performance.
Responsibilities
- Support ongoing relationship management of key vendor partners in the program, including taking on responsibility for Third-Party Lifecycle Management (TLM)
- Promotes vendor contractual information or internally sourced agreements to others within Technology, via formal or information channels
- Supports the promotion of understanding of vendor and business management strategy to entities within Technology
- Documents business-related needs in support of desired contractual or commercial terms and negotiation strategy positions
- Understands and effectively communicates processes and requirements of Service Level Agreements
- Supports team via development of effective communication plans
- Provides needed analytical support for business/supplier issue dispute resolution
Minimum Qualifications
- Prior relevant work experience in financial management, data analysis, and IT services
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred or equivalent work experience
- Experience within contract management in the sourcing/procurement field either as a customer or vendor
- Proven experience building strong relationships and connecting with senior leaders
Preferred Qualifications
- Project management or experience to build strategic roadmaps, facilitate delivery transformation etc.
- Ability to thrive in a hybrid office (3x a week) work setting
Salary Range: $85,000.00 to $150,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
