Amplify is seeking a Sales Financial Analyst to assist in transforming our forecasting and sales analytics functions into a center of excellence.  Reporting to the Director of Sales Analytics and Reporting, the analyst will participate in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting sales and financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, ultimately providing actionable insights to sales teams and stakeholders to optimize strategies and achieve business goals through creation and enhancement of current reporting and dashboard visuals.

Essential Responsibilities: 

  • Gather sales data from various channels to analyze performance, product penetration trends and patterns, demographics, and sales trends.

  • Developing district and individual performance against target/quota analysis by product mix, 

  • Provide analytical support required for developing and tracking sales programs, plans and objectives; attend and participate in sales strategy meetings.

  • Work closely with sales partners to provide data-driven insights to support sales strategies, initiatives, potential issues or trends.

  • Collect and analyze data to evaluate performance to monthly and annual sales goals, quotas, and forecasts; explain variances and changes to forecasts.

  • Support process improvement initiatives by developing actionable reports and dashboards for leadership. 

  • Provide ad hoc and customized reporting and recommendations in support of ongoing strategic initiatives.

  • Analyze large data sets from Salesforce identifying trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

  • Develop interactive, insightful dashboards and reports that monitor key metrics and performance indicators.

  • These dashboards and reports effectively communicate insights, helping sales leadership understand current performance and forecast future trends.

  • Develop sales performance reports such as win rates, pipeline health by product, and sales cycle analysis.

  • Monitor and assist in refining Salesforce processes to improve reporting accuracy and predictability.

  • Ensure adherence to deadlines, check-ins, and priorities are aligned with company objectives.

  • Attend Sales Leaders’ staff meetings and communicate performance.

  • Monitors and communicates key risks/opportunities each period, ensuring alignment with other functions.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3+ years’ experience as a Data Analyst or similar role.

  • 2+ years’ experience with Salesforce.

  • Advanced experience in Excel and Google Sheets with advanced functions and formula creation.

  • Intermediate to advanced experience with Tableau and Snowflake.

Preferred Qualifications:  

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage leaders and cross-functional teams effectively.

  • Proficient in designing relevant and impactful visualizations to support the narrative.

  • Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team setting. 

  • Ability to work within and meet all deadlines while executing on multiple deliverables.

  • Experience in the education publishing or technology fields

What we offer:

Salary is only one component of the Amplify Total Rewards package, which includes a 401(k) plan, incentive stock options, competitive health insurance and mental health options, basic life insurance, paid time off, parental leave, and access to best-in-class development programs. The gross salary range for this role is $80,000 - $90,000. This role is eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus that rewards individual and company performance.
