The Process Engineering seeking a motivated, enthusiastic Graduate to join our Fab Engineering group located at ADI’s Limerick Plant. This is an exciting time for the Limerick Fab as we are expanding our Wafer Fab by 2X and will increase output by 3X by 2026.

Initially the job role will involve being on shift working days/nights on a rotating basis.

This is aimed at giving the graduate first-hand experience into semiconductor manufacturing and allow then to develop essential skills for their role as a process engineer.

After 12-18 months the role will transition to a days only role.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Sustaining day to day operations in the fab, the gradual will work with on shift process technicians to ensure smooth operations of the Fab
  • Releasing production holds, highlighting bottlenecks in the operations and working to resolve in a timely manner.
  • Helping to qualify new tools to meet the ramp requirements.
  • Assisting in transferring Processes from sister sites to Limerick
  • Continuous Improvement projects to improve Yield & Output across the Fab
  • Cycle time Reduction projects
  • Sustainability Projects – Reduction of water, Green House Gases, PFC Chemicals across the Fab

Minimum qualifications

  • MSc in Applied Physics, Maths/Physics/Chemistry or other relevant Science/Engineering degree
  • Ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, self-starter, good problem solver.
  • Team Player

Preferred qualifications

  • Good knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing preferred but not a requirement
  • Data Analytics skills would be an advantage
