Responsibilities:

• Design and implement latch-up and ESD programs for New Product Introduction (NPI) and existing products.

• Execute PCB board layouts for ESD and latch-up testing.

• Collaborate with the ESD/Latch-Up team to prioritize ongoing projects.

• Develop layouts for board-level reliability testing.

• Support technicians during the validation process for Burn-In and Highly Accelerated Stress Testing (HAST) boards.

• Solve technical issues in the reliability lab, ensuring smooth operation and troubleshooting complex problems.

• Liaise with socket manufacturers to resolve socket-related challenges.

• Work closely with offshore hardware engineers to debug reliability board issues.

• Analyze invalid failures encountered during the qualification process and recommend corrective actions to eliminate such failures in the reliability lab.

• Conduct root cause investigations for board-level component failures.

• Work with PCB board houses to ensure the manufacturing process meets design and performance specifications.

• Coordinate with PCB assembly houses to ensure proper assembly processes and components selection.

• Design and develop Burn-in and HAST boards to meet project demands and ensure efficient testing processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering (EE) required; Masters degree preferred.

• Familiarity with PCB layout tools, specifically Allegro, is highly preferred.

• Mechanical knowledge is a plus.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

• Experience with reliability testing methodologies and standards.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities.

The expected wage range for a new hire into this position is $85,560 to $117,645.
  • Actual wage offered may vary depending on work location, experience, education, training, external market data, internal pay equity, or other bona fide factors.

  • This position qualifies for a discretionary performance-based bonus which is based on personal and company factors.
