ADI’s Automotive Audio & Networking group has members in Limerick, Valencia, and Boston. We develop highly integrated devices, which combine analogue and digital interfaces with signal processing. The development of the software-defined vehicle and the drive to autonomous vehicles has grown the demand for connectivity from high-power centralised compute resources to sensors and actuators spread throughout the vehicle. The technology in development by the Automotive Audio & Networking group enables this connectivity with solutions that offer performance, robustness and safety to our customers with wired Ethernet or proprietary technologies.
As such, we are seeking a Graduate Analog/Mixed-Signal Design Engineer to join our team and grow our design capability at our Limerick, Ireland site.
The Role & Responsibilities
Design engineering in ADI is a challenging but rewarding role. You will be imbedded in an existing team of design engineers working on the development of mixed-signal integrated circuits.
As an analog/mixed-signal design engineer, you will gain experience in all aspects of the design development flow, from identifying the key technical problems, defining an optimised architecture to solve those problems, developing the circuits required to implement the architecture, and overseeing the implementation and measurement of the solution through to a product release for sales.
You will also gain experience in many leading-edge CAD tools required to develop these complex solutions. Training and mentorship will be provided in all aspect of the flow.
You will work closely with colleagues specializing in digital design and integrated circuit layout as part of a team developing these cutting-edge products.
The role contains plenty of opportunities to interact with other specialities in the integrated circuit development, including experts on silicon processes, package assembly, automated testing, measurement, failure analysis and reliability.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor or Master of Engineering in Electronic or Electrical Engineering
