Rate of Pay:                 $204901.00 - $224,250.00 per year

Duties:                        

Responsible for product development for Analog/Mixed Signal, Power, Audio, Digital applications and for architecture, transistor level designs, emulation or simulation related to product development. Develop innovative techniques for new products and technology applications eligible for patenting. Identify project technical risks, mitigating actions, and milestones to meet project goals. Provide technical guidance to compile a project schedule. Interface with product lines, marketing engineers and customers to understand applications and contribute to architectural decisions of new products. Determine the technology selection and design flows for new product development. Improve product flows and usage of Computer Aided Design (CAD) tools by writing technical memos or through cross collaboration. Mentor junior level design engineers within the group. Participate in customer, vendor foundry visits. Perform lab evaluation or debug. Generate and present design review documentation peer review meetings. Design or verify new circuits or techniques to meet project goals. Partial telecommute benefit available (2 days/week work from home).

Requirements:                 

Master’s degree in Electrical, Electrical and Computer, Electronics or related field ( or foreign education equivalent) and 3 years of experience as a Design engineer or related role developing digital design for analog mixed signal devices.

OR in the alternative,

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electrical and Computer, Electronics or related field (or foreign education equivalent) and 5 years of experience as a Design engineer or related role developing digital design for analog mixed signal devices.

Special Skills:       

Must also possess the following:

  • Demonstrated Experience (“DE”) developing digital front end circuit architecture, designing mobile products, integrating micro-processors such as RISC-V, and modeling signal processing hardware utilizing MATLAB and Simulink;
  • DE utilizing abstract design models such as Register Transfer Level (RTL) to design and verify signal processing blocks, clock control managers, and finite state machines;
  • DE performing digital implementation flow, such as Synthesis, Place and route, Clock Domain Crossing (CDC) Analysis, Static Timing Analysis ( STA,) and Power Analysis;
  • DE verifying digital designs using Universal Verification Methodology (UVM), SystemVerilog (SV) Assertions, Formal verification Techniques and Verification IP (VIP) development; and
  • DE developing Design for Testability (DFT) Architecture and Implementation.
