The Sales Development Representative (SDR) role is defined by a passion for digital transformation and the opportunity to collaborate with some of the world’s most admired global organizations and brands. This role offers a unique chance to make a real impact by identifying and creating new qualified opportunities within MidMarket and Enterprise-level accounts.

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Sales Account Executives (AEs) to identify new opportunities within targeted accounts.
  • Build and manage comprehensive stakeholder maps by function and influence.
  • Produce, deliver, and iterate on prospecting strategies leveraging email, social media, cold calling, and qualification conversations.
  • Create, schedule, and manage attendance for qualified meetings with AEs.
  • Assist and support Andela’s marketing campaigns, such as webinars and conferences.
  • Achieve and exceed weekly, monthly, and quarterly targets (e.g., new opportunities generated, completed qualification calls).

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3-6 months excelling in an SDR role with a proven track record of producing qualified opportunities through outbound sales efforts.
  • 1-2+ years of work experience (including internships during school).
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and sales activities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience coordinating and executing prospecting strategies and activities in collaboration with assigned AEs.
  • Proficiency in premium sales tools such as Salesforce, SalesLoft, ZoomInfo, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
  • A strong desire to win and the drive to secure a “Yes” in every account you touch.
  • A creative mindset focused on improving sales outcomes and processes.
  • A driven self-starter with a reputation as a strong team player.
  • Foundational to advanced knowledge of digital roles and functions by skill set.
  • Thrives in high-velocity, fast-paced sales cultures.
  • Interest or experience in fully remote work environments.

Total compensation for this role includes a base salary of $60,000 per year and a $25,000 annual variable bonus paid out monthly as a percentage of quota attainment.
