This is a Hybrid role based out of one of our offices located Loveland, Colorado.
The Target Pay Range for this position is $164,000 - $180,000 annually. At Antech, pay decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, education, training and
budget.
Job Purpose/Overview
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director, Facilities & Workplace, North America to oversee our diverse real estate portfolio, including offices, R&D laboratories, manufacturing plants, and distribution centers across the United States and Canada. This role will drive the implementation of corporate workplace strategies, ensuring that our facilities support business objectives while fostering an exceptional workplace experience.
Balancing both strategic oversight and hands-on execution, this position will manage facility operations, vendor relationships, leases, and direct reports (e.g., office managers) while also being the primary point of escalation for facility-related issues. The ideal candidate will be adept at negotiating lease agreements, managing workplace services, and optimizing facility operations to enhance efficiency, sustainability, and associate satisfaction.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Facilities & Real Estate Management:
Oversee the operations and maintenance of offices, labs, manufacturing plants, and distribution centers across North America.
Ensure facilities meet business needs, in partnership with other functional leads, in terms of safety, functionality, compliance, and cost-effectiveness.
Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs and operational best practices. Partner with EH&S on emergency response plans.
Act as the escalation point for facility-related issues, troubleshooting and resolving challenges as they arise.
Workplace Strategy & Hospitality:
Lead the execution of corporate workplace strategies, enhancing the associate experience across all sites.
Implement hospitality-driven workplace services, ensuring a high level of associate satisfaction and engagement.
Work with office managers and other stakeholders to foster a productive and welcoming work environment.
Vendor & Budget Management:
In partnership with Procurement, oversee contracts and relationships with third-party vendors, including facility management providers, security services, janitorial teams, and maintenance contractors.
Ensure vendor performance meets contractual obligations and supports company standards.
Manage the facilities budget, tracking expenditures and identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
Lease & Real Estate Portfolio Management:
Own and manage the lease portfolio, including renewals, negotiations, expansions, and terminations.
Partner with legal and finance teams to analyze lease agreements and optimize real estate decisions.
Conduct market research and provide recommendations on real estate strategies, including site selection and consolidations.
Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Manage and develop a small team of office managers across multiple locations, providing guidance and professional development.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including HR, IT, Operations, and Finance, to align workplace strategies with broader business goals.
Act as a liaison between leadership and facility teams, ensuring alignment on workplace initiatives.

Education and Experience
8+ years of experience in facilities management, workplace strategy, real estate, or related fields, ideally across multiple facility types (offices, labs, manufacturing, distribution).
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Experience managing leases, renewals, and real estate negotiations across multiple locations.
Strong vendor management and contract negotiation skills.
Ability to balance high-level strategic planning with hands-on issue resolution.
Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with experience overseeing remote teams.
Strong budget management and financial acumen related to facilities and real estate.
Familiarity with corporate hospitality programs and workplace experience initiatives.
Willingness to travel as needed across North America (US & Canada).
Preferred:
Experience in a multi-site, national/international facilities role.
Background in industries requiring complex facility oversight (e.g., manufacturing, laboratory, logistics).
Professional certifications such as FMP, CFM, or PMP are a plus.

Working Conditions
The associate is regularly required to apply manual dexterity, including hand/wrist flexibility, for computer keyboarding. The associate frequently is required to sit for extended periods of time, stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. The associate is frequently required to hear and speak in order to use the telephone, make presentations and communicate with people in an office environment. The associate is occasionally required to sit and stoop, bend, kneel, or crouch. The associate must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.
The associate will primarily work in a typical office environment including use of cubicles, computers and overhead lighting. Temperature extremes will be minimal to nonexistent. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The associate will be required to use a computer, spreadsheets, data base management, email, and the Internet. The associate is frequently required to use a calculator; fax, copy machine, and phone system. The associate must occasionally use media equipment such as an overhead projector, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Teams.
