The team advises on all aspects of Irish and EU competition/antitrust law, including:
- Abuse of Dominance
- Cartels
- Competition aspects of commercial agreements and behaviour
- Competition compliance programmes and training
- Competition litigation, including litigation arising from investigations, disputes with regulators and damages actions
- Complaints to regulators
- Grocery Regulations
- Investigations and dawn raids
- Immunity/Leniency applications
- Merger Control approval for mergers and acquisitions and joint ventures
- Sectoral studies
- State Aid
Key Responsibilities
- Acting for leading market participants, domestic and international.
- Provision of legal and commercial expertise.
- Working as part of cross-border and interdisciplinary teams to advise on corporate activities.
- Actively engaging in business development and thought leadership initiatives and seeking out opportunities for new work.
- Drafting legal documents clearly and concisely, creating solutions using legal knowledge and commercial judgement to advise and support all of our clients.
- Attending networking and marketing events.
- Developing strong relationships with the firms clients, ensuring the highest quality of service and acting in a diligent, responsible and professional manner.
