Job Summary
As a Senior Cybersecurity, you will work with senior team members on various projects relating to the protection of devices, customers, assets, data, information technology, and networks. Support innovation, strategic planning, technical proof of concepts, testing, lab work, and various other technical program management related tasks associated with the cyber security programs. This is an individual contributor position with no direct reports.
This position will drive a key transformation program within the Chief Security Office that collects, analyzes, and alerts on anomalies found in application and database logs which can pose high risk to AT&T and to ensure security policy compliance for Logging. This position will be responsible for driving the continued onboarding of applications and/or databases to these programs, working closely with the application/database owners, solving technical and network issues, monitoring and analyzing alerting and providing architectural support for Public Cloud. This position will be responsible for driving the onboarding of >1500 additional applications and >4000 databases, as well as developing additional alerting use cases within both these programs.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Includes ideation, testing, proof of concept and support for various cyber related projects. Analysis, of complex security issues and the development and engineering activities to help mitigate risk.
Analyzes various hardware and/or software solutions recommending purchases and identifying modifications to fit AT&Ts cyber security needs and that of our managed services teams.
Develops policies and procedures to minimize network intrusion, malware events and vulnerability issues for internal and external customers. Applies measures to block malicious code and applications.
Includes forward looking research, planning, and strategy to strengthen our stance against future cyber security threats and enhance our mitigation techniques and technology solutions.
Responsible for leading the internal team members and communicating with the application team members or database administrators for validating and preparing an application or database for onboarding.
Designs and prepares applications or databases to go through the onboarding factory.
Drives and delivers expert best practices in adoption, expansion, additional use cases and in configuring and managing the Splunk environment.
Designs the intermediate and final phases of onboarding – Validate, Onboard, and Operationalize Phases as applicable.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics or Cyber Security preferred.
3-5 years of related experience.
1-3 years of Splunk architecture and troubleshooting experience Application and Platform Architecture; Software Development Lifecycle
1-3 years of UNIX shell scripting, distributed and extended source monitoring Basic to Advanced Cloud security knowledge for Azure and AWS
Experience with Technical applications/database onboarding monitoring; Connectivity troubleshooting
General information security knowledge (CISSP, Splunk Certifications, etc.) Requires Daily Office Presence (3-5 days a week) in one of the listed locations. No relocation assistance is provided.

Our Senior Cybersecurity earn between 116,700.00 - 175,100.00 USD Annual. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
