Job Title: Senior Manager, Cash Management

Location: High Cross, Cambridge or London, hybrid

The job

The Finance Senior Manager – Cash is a new role within the AVEVA Finance team. The purpose of the role is to ensure that cash generation is maximised with effective business processes in place including for invoicing and collecting cash from customers, and appropriate reporting to drive insight, action and change

Responsibilities

  • Establish and supervise the collections policy for the Group.  Ensure policy is effected through processes and procedures, and manage any deviations
  • Establish and operate the reporting of the Group cash collection position
  • Work with the AVEVA commercial teams to instil cash awareness in contract negotiations and ensure systems are aligned to our standard terms
  • Understand and report material variances to Finance Leadership and the CFO with identified actions and owners in place
  • Establish KPIs to measure the effectiveness of the end-to-end cash management activities

Skills & Qualifications

Ideal Skills

  • Experience of cash management in a global organisation including forecasting and cash collection
  • Excellent stakeholder management and engagement skills to promote collaborative ways of working and report effectively to senior leaders
  • Demonstrate strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail; proven ability to address operational challenges
  • Strong sense of integrity always does the right thing and encourages others to behave in the same way
  • Ability to perform in a time pressured environment to meet deadlines and flexibility to work across regional time zones

Desired skills

  • Highly energetic, self-motivated, and proactive as an individual
  • Ability to inspire and motivate others as a team member
  • PowerBI knowledge, and experience of handling and reporting complex data
  • Finance Degree or professional qualification

Hybrid working
