About the Role:

The Senior Manager, Corporate FP&A, is responsible for a broad range of financial modeling and analytics including bringing together BigPanda’s multi year forecasts, annual budget, and a wide range of financial analyses. This Senior Manager role will be heavily involved in the preparation of internal and external reporting for BigPanda, evolving BigPanda’s financial processes, tools and procedures, and providing decision making support to BigPanda’s senior executives.

This full-time position reports to our VP of Finance. The Finance team is based out of our Redwood City headquarters, but the team is flexible and works mostly remotely.

What you will do:

  • Ownership of our core FP&A processes such as development of quarterly forecasts, annual plan, and multi year forecasts, collaborating with our Finance Systems Team to identify opportunities to improve tools and processes.
  • Develop quarterly materials for Board of Directors and Investor reporting.
  • Conduct robust financial modeling, analytics and translate findings into succinct narratives and insights for our CFO and other executives. 
  • Participate in month end close processes and prepare content for monthly analytical presentations, providing executive leadership with strategic insights that shows further understanding of expense levers, organizational efficiencies, and return on investment.
  • Advisor & partner to senior leaders across the organization to strengthen processes, cross functional dependencies, produce insights and be the connective tissue between cross functional teams and organizations.

What skills and experience you’ll bring to BigPanda:

  • Bachelors Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or comparable quantitative field
  • 8+ years of FP&A/Strategic Finance, at least 4 in Corporate FP&A,, or related experience (e.g Investment Banking, Management Consulting), with a focus on technology; familiarity with the software industry and SaaS business-models is a must.
  • Experience with managing complex budgets, knowledge of best practices, and building processes for scale.
  • Experience in developing, maintaining and enhancing various types of capacity and forecast models and various ROI analysis. 
  • Superb financial modeling skills and quantitative analysis experience, with ability to distill complex subject matter into curated executive summaries.
  • Ideally experience operating and working with systems such as Adaptive, Netsuite, Salesforce, BambooHR, and Snowflake.
  •  Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with constant change; agility, flexibility, and capacity to balance multiple priorities at once.
  • Resourceful and not afraid to roll up your sleeves.

Market competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range of $157,000 - $195,000. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location
