Strategy Data Analyst (Data Insights Analyst, Strategy)
Responsibilities
- Ad hoc advanced investigations into client performance as prioritized
- Develop successful client case studies for net new analyses specific to key client opportunities
- Perform meta analyses specific to digital marketing, ecommerce, and retail-sub verticals to discover insights which inform thought-leadership position pieces
- Utilize SQL, Python, Looker, and Hex to build new analyses and expand existing ones.
- Enable business teams to use data to make informed decisions and understand our clients through training/enablement and documentation.
- Find opportunities to expand our product reach at our clients, and surface those recommendations to business teams.
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in a data analyst, data science,or business intelligence role within retail, ecommerce, and/or digital marketing industries
- Clear and direct communication skills about complex, analytical/technical topics, including excellent data storytelling & visualization
- Thorough experience with popular website analytics platforms, e.g., Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics 4 (GA4), etc.
- 3+ years working in SQL, including advanced functions
- 2+ years working regularly in Python, including popular packages (particularly for data analysis and visualization)
- 1+ years experience with BI tooling
- Curious learner who proactively self-teaches when opportunities merit exploration
- Experience using a dimensional data warehouse (i.e., fact, dimension & mart models) to derive insights
- Fluency in English
