Cloud Compliance Lead

The Boeing CompanyBoeing Information Technology & Data Analytics (IT&DA) is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Cloud Compliance Lead to join their team in Seattle, WA; North Charleston, SC; or Berkeley, MO.
The selected candidate will spearhead our security compliance initiatives across Boeings cloud platforms. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring adherence to critical compliance frameworks, including ISO certifications, NIST-800-171, NIST-800-53, DFARS, CMMC, and SOX. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices, conduct audits, and drive continuous improvement in our cloud security posture.
Position Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of compliance strategies for Boeings cloud environments (currently Azure, Amazon, and Google)
- Ensure alignment with ISO, NIST, DFARS, CMMC, and SOX requirements through comprehensive assessments and audits
- Collaborate with Cloud & Development Platforms leadership team to sustain and maintain the Information Security Management System (ISMS)
- Collaborate with Information Technology, security, and engineering teams to integrate compliance into cloud architecture and operations
- Monitor regulatory changes and industry standards to proactively adapt compliance frameworks
- Provide training and guidance to stakeholders and application teams on compliance requirements and best practices
- Author compliance related policies specific to the Cloud & Development Platform team, derived from Boeing Enterprise and/or industry policy and guidance
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 10+ years of experience designing and implementing IT security systems
- 5+ years of experience in a cloud computing environment e.g. Azure/AWS/Google Cloud
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information protection, and risk management
- 5+ years of experience with ISO Certifications
- 3+ years of experience leading projects and/or teams
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in cloud security and compliance
- 5+ years of experience leading a globally distributed team
- 5+ years of experience with ISO, NIST, DFARS, CMMC, and SOX compliance requirements
- 5+ years of experience with Scaled Agile Framework or Agile Methodologies
