The Boeing Company’s Government & Enterprise Contracts organization is seeking a Mid-Level Staff Analyst out of Seattle, Washington to join the Commercial Item Transfer at Price (CITAP) - Center of Excellence team.
This role supports Government acquisitions that utilize CITAP, acting as an independent collaboration partner, assisting with transactions between defense and commercial units, and educating stakeholders regarding commercially proposed products and services. This role will assist in the development and monitoring of CITAP metrics and reporting.

Position Responsibilities:
Reporting Excellence:
- Take the lead in running and preparing specialized CITAP reports on a weekly, bi-weekly, and ad-hoc basis, providing valuable insights to drive decision-making
- Collaborate with the Commercial team to create tailored reports that support Defense audits, ensuring our operations are transparent and compliant
Pricing Coordination:
- Be the go-to person for coordinating the prioritization of pricing CITAPs, working closely with diverse commercial and defense teams to streamline processes and enhance efficiency
Quality Assurance Champion:
- Play a crucial role in resolving CITAP quality issues by reviewing and correcting errors in new Statements of Work (SOWs)
- Conduct thorough quality reviews of initial and amended CITAPs, partnering with defense and commercial contracts to implement necessary corrections and uphold our high standards
Emptoris Troubleshooting:
- Support our team by addressing CITAP user issues and assisting with database troubleshooting, ensuring a seamless experience for all users
CITAP Access Management:
- Collaborate with IT to manage CITAP system access and security, safeguarding our data integrity
- Engage with new CITAP users to discuss their roles, submit access requests, and ensure they have the right system access to excel in their positions
- Provide guidance and training for new Emptoris users, empowering them to navigate the system confidently
- Work hand-in-hand with IT to maintain robust user access and security management, preventing unauthorized data transfer and ensuring compliance with government data protection audits
This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.
This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 3+ years of experience using Microsoft Excel
- 3+ years of experience gathering and analyzing data
- Experience supporting internal customers
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelors degree or higher
- Familiarity with Commercial Item Transfer processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years related work experience, 10 years related work experience, etc.).

Summary pay range: $100,300– $135,700
