We are seeking an experienced Director of Paid Media to drive the strategy, team, forecast, and qualified lead generation to convert to meetings book across paid search, paid social and ABM strategies for Bonterra.
Position Overview
Reporting to the SVP of Demand Generation the Director of Paid Media will lead a team of functional experts to develop new strategies create demand through lead generation strategies centered on paid media and ABM execution.
The ideal candidate will be a seasoned leader with a proven track record of driving pipeline growth, motivating teams, managing agency outcomes, and employing extensive optimizations increase conversions of leads. They will understand industry benchmarking, strive to outperform those benchmarks, and be comfortable defining and reporting on paid campaign success metrics. This individual will also proactively partner with key stakeholders across GTM Programs, Web, SEO, and Brand to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual performance results.
Responsibilities
Develop, forecast, and benchmark the paid media lead acquisition strategy to achieve lead generation and conversion to meetings booked targets
Maintain a data-first approach through continual tracking, KPI reporting, optimization, and experimentation (A/B testing protocols) to meet or exceed company goals within budget
Lead, motivate, and mentor members of the paid media team to efficiently use the latest range of techniques
Evaluate competitor, customer, and market condition data to drive optimal performance growth across paid media channels
Use strong analytical skills to evaluate end-to-end prospect journey experience across multiple channels and customer touch points
Manage a complex budget and deliver campaign plan recommendations that align to performance targets and/or support incremental investment strategies
Develop and document processes, including defining SLAs, managing playbooks, and templatizing channel plans to create repeatable channel launches focused on hitting pipeline targets
Manage agency relationship and hold them accountable to meeting their goals
Partner with key stakeholders in continuing to build out and elevate the organization’s ABM program by establishing appropriate vendor relationships and internal collaboration points
Requirements
8-10+ years of paid media experience driving revenue impact in high-growth B2B/SaaS-based technology companies
7-8+ years of people management experience
Prior roles or experience marketing to buyers at various levels in a recurring revenue model
Core expertise in paid search, paid social and ABM
Ability to lead and manage teams at both strategic and operational levels
Core expertise in managing multiple budgets and optimizing spend across various programs and distribution channels
Deep knowledge of marketing technology, paid media platforms, BI, and CRM systems to maximize efficiencies in campaigns
Ability to make informed decisions with the best available data and navigate competing priorities to deliver results
Previous experience with ABM platforms
Proven track record of identifying, recruiting, and developing talent
Previous non-profit, foundations, grant making, corporate giving, philanthropy, and/or public sector experience a plus
Compensation
The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and in addition to benefits this role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses/incentives, and equity.
US Base Salary Range: $110,000 - $143,000 w/15% annual bonus
