Air and Missile Intelligence Analyst
Key Role:
Leverage intelligence research experience and foreign conventional weapons knowledge to perform threat analysis and characterization. Analyze, characterize, and assess foreign threats based on all available information in the intelligence community (IC) record, including GEOINT, SIGINT, MASINT, HUMINT, and OSINT, threat characterization studies that extend beyond the intelligence record, and SME experience and judgment for a broad spectrum of foreign conventional weapons across terrestrial such as ground-mobile launch and long-range strike platforms, air-defense and over-the-horizon surveillance, and fire control systems, maritime such as surface and subsurface vessels equipped with long-range strike weapons, air such as next generation fighter aircraft, bombers, long-range air-to-air missiles, standard and hypersonic cruise missiles, and space such as long- range ballistic and maneuverable missiles, hypersonic glide vehicles, or fractional orbital bombardment systems domains. Provide assessments on system research and development activities, timelines, designs, configurations, capabilities, performance, operations, employment strategies, and signatures. Tailor assessments to inform client initiatives working to generate, evaluate, and recommend force designs for U.S. space-based systems, services, and architectures. Apply knowledge of weapon system architectures, networks, and technology along with experience using IC tools and databases to identify, extract, and analyze pertinent information and provide technical analysis to support protection initiatives. Engage IC partners to develop integrated analysis plans, solicit further insights, and collaborate on additional research. Identify information gaps and threat information needs to task IC entities via standard IC tasking processes and request for information tools to conduct additional collection and analysis. Author and coordinate threat assessment products on foreign missile programs combining intelligence information and Department of Defense (DoD) technical and operations analysis in collaboration with IC and DoD partners.
Basic Qualifications:
8+ years of experience with intelligence analysis and production in DoD or IC environments
3+ years of experience with all-source intelligence analysis and production n DoD or IC environments
3+ years of experience with operational weapon system intelligence analysis and production
Knowledge of foreign conventional weapons design and performance attributes and foreign military operations and dependencies
Knowledge of U.S. national and service-specific IC roles and responsibilities
Knowledge of IC reporting, sources, dissemination mechanisms, and tradecrafts
Knowledge of both U.S. service and national security space systems and architectures
Ability to work in a dynamic environment, focused on networking with other IC partners
Active TS/SCI clearance; willing to take a polygraph exam
HS diploma or GED
Additional Qualifications:
Experience providing intelligence support to research and development efforts
Experience working in special access program and special access required environments
Knowledge of U.S. missile and missile warning operations planning process
Knowledge of current USSPACECOM and Component intelligence operations
Bachelor’s degree in Physical Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Operational Research, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or an Intelligence field preferred; Master’s degree a plus
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
