The Opportunity: 

Are you an experienced Engineer or Project Manager that has worked within an Agile environment? Have you worked overseeing maintenance and operations, as well as modernization projects, for infrastructure technologies? As an Infrastructure Project Manager you will have the opportunity to support the management of an agile IT organization, working closely with IT executives, and across Application Development, Operations, and Security teams to modernize and maintain the client IT infrastructure. On behalf of the Assistant CIOs, you will function as the central interface between the infrastructure support vendor and leadership helping to define requirements to meet both IT and business needs and ensure that projects remain on schedule and that any risks or issues are mitigated in a timely manner.

You will support the management of the vendor delivering the client’s Infrastructure support services contract embedding yourself within their team to provide oversight for ongoing infrastructure operations projects from the initial planning through supporting obtaining approvals for change and ensuring teams are prepared for successful deployments. You will provide contract management support, including ensuring SLA compliance and leading Quality Assurance activities for all deliverables and required documentation. You will interact directly with Agile Scrum Teams, as needed, supporting any required infrastructure needs for custom application development. You will help ensure efficient and timely project completion to meet client-defined priorities in executing defined IT program strategy and operations plans.

You Have: 

• 3+ years of experience with technical project management on infrastructure IT projects

• 3+ years of experience with executing in the Agile and SAFe methodologies

• Experience with reviewing and analyzing project budgets, invoices, and managing schedules to ensure the client meets critical milestones

• Experience with communicating, presenting to, and developing work products and deliverables for an executive audience

• Experience with the Atlassian tool suite, including Jira

• Experience leveraging DevOps to implement infrastructure technology solutions, including Docker, Terraform, and AWS or Azure services

• Ability to identify risks proactively, recommend mitigating actions, and drive the team to resolution

• Ability to manage multiple competing tasks and work collaboratively across functional areas in support of client objectives to present and communicate analytical findings on an independent basis

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Business

• Experience optimizing cloud solutions for performance and security

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or Business

• Agile or SAFe Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
