Marketing and Outreach Lead

Key Role:

Lead, manage, and develop the client-facing marketing and outreach team. Provide strategic direction and overall guidance to help expand and enhance our military clients public outreach program. Own the overall market and outreach strategy process, manage the overall communication strategy, and develop quantitative and qualitative analysis-based recommendations for client and project leadership of new market and outreach strategies. Manage and approve all strategic marketing topics and ensure compliance of marketing activities with the clients brand positioning requirements and communication strategy. Work on the planning, implementation, and development of new marketing ideas for clients. Support communications projects in the areas of public relations and symposiums, including internet-based communications. Serve as an editor for formal client communications. Use professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience with marketing or public relations functions with a high degree of customer orientation
  • Experience with communications and marketing principles and fluency with digital platforms, including social media
  • Experience with growing social media platforms, including Facebook, X, Instagram, and LinkedIn
  • Experience utilizing analytical skills and tools to measure and optimize marketing and outreach programs
  • Experience supporting events and conferences
  • Experience bringing regular, positive media attention to an organization
  • Ability to create and execute annual marketing and advertising campaigns
  • Ability to create graphics
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) Certification

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience working with a Federal Agency, the DoD, or Air Force clients
  • Ability to motivate, develop, and maximize the effectiveness of team members
  • Ability to be highly detailed with a passion for well-executed deliverables
  • Possession of excellent project management skills, including navigating a project from concept to completion on a timely basis within budget, and responding quickly and effectively in times of high-stress
  • Possession of excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Possession of excellent communication skills, to portray complex issues and convey them to non-experts
  • Masters degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $54,000.00 to $123,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
