Site Deployment Lead

The Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Deployment Lead to oversee the roll-out of electronic health record (EHR) software solutions at the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). You will use a deep understanding of EHR systems, healthcare IT, project management, and software deployment processes. This role requires an execution-minded driver with excellent communication skills, a discipline to manage to a schedule, an ability to identify and mitigate risk, and a passion for improving healthcare through technology for our country’s veterans.

Youll apply broad understanding of the principles of computer and information science to the advancement of life sciences research, health professions education, public health, and care, including informatics, clinical informatics, or public health informatics. Youll also able to apply leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts.

You will also contribute to the development of new principles and concepts. Youll work on unusually complex problems and provide highly innovative solutions. Additionally, you will operate with substantial latitude for unreviewed action or decision, and you may mentor or supervise employees in both company and technical competencies. This position is a Hybrid role with Booz Allen. Candidate is expected to work on-site at a Booz Allen or Client Facility 20-50% of your time, as needed.

You Have:

  • Knowledge of end-to-end deployment process for our VA clients in the EHR Modernization (EHRM) program

  • Ability to travel domestically up to 90% of the time

  • Ability to evaluate and improve deployment processes

  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technical, functional, clinical, and programmatic, to ensure successful EHR implementations

  • Ability to create and maintain detailed project plans and timelines

  • Ability to identify project risks

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
