That’s because you’re a software architect who specializes in mission-critical software with a solid background in design and development. On our team, youll translate your customer’s software needs and future goals into a plan by developing and implementing effective design, architecture, and coding standards. You’ll use the latest software control systems to design an effective software architecture. Your technical expertise will be vital as you lead the building of ground systems investments and capabilities using Agile development practices.

In this role, you’ll directly impact the space industry by developing modern solutions to advance the state of ground systems. With your advanced technical expertise, mentoring, and opportunities to learn new tools and skills, you’ll guide a team that develops the best solutions for our customers. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

You Have:

• 10+ years of experience with back-end software development technologies, including Java, Gradle or Maven, Spring Framework, and Postgres

• 10+ years of experience with cloud infrastructure platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, and Oracle Cloud

• 10+ years of experience with DevOps or infrastructure technologies, including Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform, and Helm, and OIDC providers, such as Keycloak

• Experience with National Security space domain

• Experience with messaging systems

• Bachelors degree

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with Spring integration, microservices, leadership or mentorship, and JMS

• Experience with CI/CD technologies, including Ansible, Jenkins, and Git

• Experience with Agile development or Scrum

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $112,800.00 to $257,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
