Technical Integration Specialist
The Opportunity:
As an expert in defense missions, your unique background inspires you to think bigger, push further, and ask questions others don’t. We need your extensive industry knowledge and advisory skills to guide teams as they solve some of our clients’ most complex problems—and find solutions that keep our nation safe.
In concert with the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) program managers, you’ll develop and present comprehensive integration plans for selected technologies, outlining implementation strategies, resource requirements, potential challenges, and mitigation strategies.
As a Technical Integration Specialist with a combatant command, you’ll bring your tactical and technical expertise to work alongside thought leaders in strategic delivery for projects for intersecting with DARPA and combatant command. You’ll use your skills and expertise as you lead and participate in proof-of-concept projects and field tests to evaluate the feasibility and effectiveness of new technologies in operational environments.
Work with us to help play a critical part in identifying, evaluating, and integrating novel technologies into DARPAs existing infrastructure and operational procedures. You will act as a liaison between technology developers, military end-users, and command leadership, bridging the gap between cutting-edge technology and real-world military applications.

You Have:
20+ years of experience in a technology-focused role, preferably within the Department of Defense or government agencies
Experience with military doctrine, operations, and acquisition processes
Knowledge of current and emerging technologies relevant to the Commands mission
Ability to conduct thorough technical assessments of identified technologies against Command operational gaps and potential technical solutions on current and future operations
Ability to research and stay abreast of emerging technologies relevant to the Commands mission, including artificial intelligence, machine learning, cybersecurity, autonomous systems, directed energy, hypersonics, and quantum computing
Ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, external technology vendors, research institutions, and government agencies
Ability to prepare clear and concise reports and presentations for senior leadership
Top Secret clearance
Bachelors degree in a Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology field
Nice If You Have:
Experience working with DARPA
Experience serving in the Armed Forces
TS/SCI clearance
Master’s degree preferred; Doctorate degree a plus
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $112,800.00 to $257,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
