About the role:
The Professional Education Training Manager will assist in development of educational curriculum and will be responsible for the coordination and implementation of training programs for the company’s products, therapies and services.
This position is part of the Pain Stim team, supporting the SCS, VFX and RF procedures and will have responsibility for educating and training physicians and health care providers on BSN therapies.

This is a field-based position, and the ideal candidate will reside near a major airport or has options to travel easily. (Remote)
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assist in the development and coordination of core content covering product knowledge, key clinical data and surgical techniques required to ensure physicians and medical support staff are fully knowledgeable on use of BSN therapies and products
- Familiar with all regulatory requirements for content and PSST process review
- Partner with Marketing, Reimbursement and other cross-functional groups to support the launch of new products and clinical research and incorporating this new content into both National and local educational programs
- Attend cases with Faculty to further education and product knowledge
- Interact with the field and evaluate need for new learning programs, educational materials and hands-on equipment/models to address unmet education needs for customers; design and implement these programs.
- Assist to develop and coordinate core content covering product knowledge, key clinical data, surgical techniques, reimbursement, and relevant product information to ensure HCPs are fully knowledgeable on use of Spinal Cord Stimulation, Vertiflex and RF
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, Reimbursement, Clinical and Regulatory to coordinate classes, make travel arrangements, identify and contact physician faculty and for all HCP training programs
- Attend critical industry conferences to maintain clinical and competitive knowledge so training priorities are market relevant
- Be an effective member of the Pain Training & Education team and play a key role in delivering excellence in training.
- Ensure compliance with the quality policy and on label promotion and knowledge and execution of all Sunshine laws and regulations
- Implements and monitors strategies outlined by the quarterly educational plan of action for the area
- On-call duties may be required 24 hours a day, 7 days per week, due to nature of working with Physicians/HCPs/Faculty
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required with 3+ years of experience in an education or training role in medical device, pharma, or healthcare (can include field trainer experience), OR associate’s degree with 4+ years of experience in a related clinical role (Nursing, Surgical Technologist, Radiologic Technologist, etc.).
- Able to travel up to 50%.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in minimally invasive spine procedures utilizing fluoroscopy, CT or MRI
- 5+ years of experience in medical device and/or healthcare sales (fluoroscopic guided spine procedures)
- Able to work in a high paced, changing environment, and interface effectively with cross collaborative partners.
- Experience in cadaveric training is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to visualize and translate 2-dimensional fluoroscopic images into anatomical 3-dimensional spaces
- Excellent written and oral communications skills.
- Cross-functional team experience.
- Customer relationship and budget management.
- Able to build strong rapport and relate well to physicians, surgeons, and key opinion leaders.
- Ability to lift larger pelican cases with simulator and training materials
The anticipated annualized base pay range this full-time position working at this location will be from $100,700 to $191,300, plus variable compensation, i.e., annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements) and the value of core and optional employee benefits being offered at Boston Scientific (BSC), which can be reviewed at www.bscbenefitsconnect.com. At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the pay range. BSC considers various factors in determining actual compensation for this position at the expected location. Actual compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, and other relevant business or organizational needs. Actual compensation may be otherwise adjusted if the position is filled outside of the intended geographic location.
