Job Summary
The Quality Assurance Product Analyst will focus primarily on ensuring product quality of the rewards platform. This position is also responsible for validating production features and functionality against business requirements and functional specifications, while implementing and adhering to QA best practices. Additionally, the Quality Assurance Analyst plays a key role in the software development lifecycle, resolving operations problems, maintaining procedural documentation, implementing new procedures, and participating in test development and execution.
Essential Job Functions:
- Rewards Platform Subject Matter Expert: Develops and maintains understanding of all of the components and functionality of the rewards platform. Leverages system expertise to validate component functionality and to provide guidance on system changes and system feature application. Performs research for remediation, process improvement or external asks.
- Test strategy planning: Evaluates the Business Requirements, Functional Specifications, and Design documents to identify the correct set of test matrices, cases and test scripts for the specified test environment. Key driver in internal and external test meetings or standups to represent results and follow through on deliverables. Represents team in development project meetings and report out on testing results to cross-functional teams. Keeps leadership updated on progress and reports daily on findings and any obstacles.
- Test execution: Execute test cases/scripts. Condition test accounts, create test data and document test results. Validate rewards configurations and settings for rules, distribution buckets, and programs. Manages data collection and distribution to achieve required results and validations. Will be responsible for managing due dates for execution of scripts while clearly communicating and documenting all test results. Other administrative and documentation duties as assigned, to include: assemble sample results, update functional documentation and shared site repository.
- Defect management: Responsible for entering all issues found into a defect tracking application and communicating with team lead on priority of defect. Will monitor status of defects via tracking tool. Will also need to communicate issues on standup meetings (internal & external). Provides updates and results directly to assigned project managers, both internal and external.
- New Business Start up: Serves as primary Quality Assurance liaison for new business. Works with all internal partners to coordinate tasks and planning for a quality launch. Consult/advise account teams and other internal partners on the loyalty platform functionality, configuration options and data processing.
- Audit: Conduct and support operational, compliance and accounting quality audits to ensure compliance with best practices. Identifies opportunities for quality and efficiency improvements. Demonstrates testing processes and strategy for internal partners as requested.

Working Conditions/ Physical Requirements:
Normal office environment. (Remote or Hybrid), 3 to 4 days per month are required in office if within 60 miles of a Bread Financial location.

Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Three or more years working in an office environment performing Quality Assurance Testing.
Preferred Experience:
- Associate’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or an equivalent related educational background and/or work experience.
- Three or more years working in an office environment in financial services or information technology performing Quality Assurance Testing.
- Experience with Quality Assurance Testing loyalty products or programs.
- Experience working with Agile Development Process, Principles & Methodologies.

Salary Range (unless otherwise noted below):
$69,900.00 - $126,600.00Full Salary Range for position:
California: $80,400.00 - $158,300.00Colorado: $69,900.00 - $133,000.00New York: $76,900.00 - $158,300.00Washington: $73,400.00 - $145,600.00Maryland: $73,400.00 - $139,300.00Washington DC: $80,400.00 - $145,600.00Illinois: $69,900.00 - $139,300.00The actual base pay within this range may be dependent upon many factors, which may include, but are not limited to, work location, education, experience, and skills.
Bread Financial offers medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, and other voluntary benefits (including basic and optional life insurance, supplemental medical plans, and short and long-term disability) to eligible associates (regular full-time associates scheduled to work 30 hours per week or more) and their spouses/domestic partners, and child(ren) under the age of 26. New associate elected coverage begins on date of hire (with the exception of disability coverage which has a 6-month waiting period). Six weeks of 100% paid parental leave for eligible parents is available after a 180-day waiting period. Hired associates can immediately enroll in Bread Financial’s 401(k) plan.
All associates receive 11 paid holidays. Associates have discretion in managing their time away from work through the Flexible Time Off (FTO) program and may need to notify and receive approval from their manager prior to taking the time off. Associates (except those located in Illinois) receive 80 hours of Paid Sick and Safe Time (“PSST”) upon hire and at the beginning of each subsequent calendar year. Illinois associates receive 40 hours of Illinois PSST upon hire and at the beginning of each subsequent calendar year and 40 hours of Illinois Paid Leave upon hire and at the beginning of each subsequent calendar year. Illinois Paid Leave must be used before associates in Illinois will be approved to take FTO.
Hired associates will be able to elect the purchase company stock during offering periods in June and December. You will be eligible for an annual incentive bonus based on individual and company performance.
