Your Job: 
As the Senior Manager, Social Media & Influencer Marketing, you will be responsible for leading and evolving the strategic vision for Brooks social media and influencer marketing efforts across North America. You will oversee and collaborate with members across the Social Media and Influencer Marketing teams - ensuring their programs align to broader brand and business goals while fostering a cohesive and integrated approach to storytelling and engagement across channels. 
 
You will act as a strategic leader, advocating for the role of social and influencer marketing in driving brand awareness, engagement, and loyalty while delivering measurable results. You will partner cross-functionally across the organization and with external agencies to deliver dynamic, high-impact programs and campaigns that inspire runners, elevate the Brooks brand and drive cultural relevancy for the brand. 

Your Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership & Strategy 
  • Set the overarching strategy for social media and influencer marketing, ensuring alignment with the Brooks global and North America marketing goals 
  • Lead annual and quarterly budget planning for social media and influencer programs, ensuring effective allocation and prioritization of resources to maximize impact 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., PR, Retail, Digital, Product, and Creative) to integrate social and influencer strategies into broader brand initiatives 
  • Establish KPIs and benchmarks for success, leveraging data and analytics to inform decision-making and optimize programs 

  • Agency Leadership & Partnership Management 
  • Lead relationships with external agency partners, ensuring they deliver innovative, best-in-class solutions that align with Brooks’ brand values and objectives 
  • Set clear expectations and provide strategic guidance to agency teams, driving excellence in creativity, execution, and performance 
  • Regularly evaluate agency performance, offering constructive feedback and identifying opportunities for growth and improvement 
  • Foster a collaborative and productive partnership environment that pushes agency partners to innovate and exceed goals 

  • Team Management & Development 
  • Lead, mentor, and manage teams, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment 
  • Support the professional growth and development of team members, providing coaching and guidance on strategy, execution, and analytics 
  • Oversee team workflows, resource planning, and goal setting 

  • Social Media Management 
  • Guide the evolution of Brooks’ social media strategy across all key platforms (e.g., Instagram, FB, TikTok, YouTube, Threads, and more) 
  • Partner with the Social Media Manager to oversee content planning and development, ensuring alignment with brand voice and tone 
  • Identify and prioritize new platforms, trends, and technologies that align with brand objectives 
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enable flawless execution of strategy 

  • Influencer Marketing Oversight 
  • Collaborate with the Influencer Marketing Manager to refine and expand Brooks’ influencer programs, with a focus on authenticity, community building, and measurable impact 
  • Oversee key influencer partnerships and activations, ensuring alignment with brand priorities and storytelling goals 
  • Build and maintain relationships with key influencers, ambassadors, and third-party agencies to drive strategic partnerships 
  • Ensure effective negotiation strategies are implemented to secure partnerships with influencers at competitive rates, maximizing ROI while maintaining high-quality relationships 

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration 
  • Promote content amplification and sharing across influencer and social teams 
  • Partner with internal stakeholders (e.g., Product, Retail, Events) to create integrated campaigns and leverage opportunities for social and influencer synergy 
  • Work with global counterparts to ensure alignment and sharing of best practices across regions 
  • Support global storytelling initiatives by amplifying key product and brand narratives through North American social and influencer channels 

  • Performance Analysis & Reporting 
  • Ensure all campaigns and initiatives are supported by robust measurement and reporting frameworks 
  • Deliver insights-driven post-mortems to inform future strategies and enhance program effectiveness 
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and competitive benchmarks to position Brooks as a leader in social and influencer marketing 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience. 
  • 10+ years of experience in social media and influencer marketing 
  • 5+ years in a leadership role 
  • Proven track record of managing and growing social media channels and influencer programs with measurable success 
  • Deep understanding of major social media platforms, influencer engagement strategies and emerging trends and the intersection across both channels 
  • Robust agency management experience 
  • Personal experience producing social media content, editing, storyboarding, writing creative treatments, is a plus 
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a passion for mentoring and developing talent 
  • Exceptional project management and organizational abilities, with experience managing budgets and resources 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and inspire stakeholders at all levels 
  • Talent management and/or talent agency experience is a plus 
Compensation: The pay range for this position, based out of the Brooks Seattle HQ, is $131,662 to $210,680 per year. Base pay offered will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Location- You will spend 3 days per week in our Seattle offices, as we believe our organization flourishes when connections, collaboration, creativity, problem-solving, and celebrations happen in person.
