About the role:

Were searching for a driven, ambitious, and results-oriented AT&T East Region Partner Manager to join our dynamic and growing organization to help drive strategy, and build the strategic relationships needed to sell our solutions, with and through our AT&T partnership in the East, to public safety and public sector agencies, as well as in the B2B markets. 

As an AT&T East Region Partner Manager, you will be responsible for leading the relationships, and all go-to-market activities, with AT&T in the East U.S. and Canada, to bring in new business as well as work with our existing clients to expand the use of our product portfolio at scale. You sell indirectly through and with and work closely with our direct sales, marketing, product, and operations organizations to ensure your partners are enabled and supported to successfully scale Carbyne’s business.


Heres what youll be working on:

  • Primary relationship owner for AT&T in Eastern Region, and for building a strategic account plan with AT&T in the region
  • Develop and maintain all levels of relationships, including senior and executive-level partner relationships to ultimately drive go-to-market strategy and generate scalable revenue growth
  • Oversee the AT&T journey phases (onboarding, sales and technical engagement, certification tracking, account mapping, pipeline development, and reporting and tracking) 
  • Develop AT&T East Region strategies that involve tightly aligned Carbyne and Partner sales motions, marketing campaigns, and client heat mapping, to deliver on-target revenue assigned to your partners
  • Assist in the development of  go-to-market materials for existing, new, and joint products with AT&T, and work with marketing to drive the maximum ROI from any partner marketing investment into demand generation campaigns and vertical market plans
  • Work with AT&T to create tight alignment between AT&T sales reps and Carbyne RSMs, via client heat maps, account plans, and close plans, to develop scalable new business
  • Enable and drive your partners to sell Carbyne to all levels of agencies and companies, and to manage complex Carbyne sales campaigns from introduction to closure
  • Work with AT&T technical and implementation teams to provide product and implementation feedback and help identify areas for Partner improvement
  • Provide support and mentorship by participating in client and prospect meetings or engaging other Carbyne resources as required
  • Work closely with AT&T to help in the identification, development, forecasting and management of opportunities to achieve the partners revenue goal
  • At least 3 years of partner management experience and success in meeting and surpassing goals and targets in a high-growth organization
  • At least 5 years of demonstrated successful industry indirect sales, with a focus on software, services, platform integration, and/or network services (SaaS and cloud experience a must)
  • Must reside in the East Coast
  • Superb relationship building skills are a must, as well as the ability to develop and nurture partner strategic plans and the successful delivery of those plans
  • Demonstrated understanding of contact center technologies and addressing modern challenges in the contact center
  • Experience in creating and executing long-term sales plans, account plans, and close plans with partners 
  • Ability to clearly and directly articulate complex solution offerings to partners with a strong technical orientation
  • Self-motivated with a can-do approach - “create the solution” philosophy
  • Strong attention to detail, creative, open-minded, focused, highly collaborative, inquisitive and tenacious with the ability to find new opportunities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, particularly across multiple functional disciplines, and at executive levels
  • Ability to travel to partners and customers as needed (up to 30% of the time)
  • Demonstrated understanding of PSAP and stakeholder agency technology and service is a plus but not a requirement
  • Demonstrated success in Government sales
