Job Details
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborates with various business units to analyze data and extract relevant insights and trends on both a proactive and reactive cadence.
- Evaluate and report on the health of reimbursement products and processes such as the Retro Program, including monitoring of relevant KPI’s.
- Develop, maintain and enforce reimbursement processes and procedures as assigned by the Senior Manager, Reimbursement
- Identify, assess and propose resolutions for correcting and preventing data integrity issues across reimbursement products, especially Retro and conversion.
- In collaboration with cross-functional departments, acquire in-depth knowledge of public/private and federal adjudication reimbursement mechanisms, pharmacy billing processes and Kroll functionality and apply to the reimbursement product reporting and KPIs.
- Manage multiple competing priorities to meet established deadlines demonstrating organizational maturity.
- Make decisions effectively and take initiative with minimal direction.
- Responsible for utilizing all technology and resources effectively and efficiently.
- Liaise with stakeholders to manage assignments.
- The Reimbursement Analytics Associate will also be assigned other duties and tasks as required from time to time.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Completion of a Bachelors’ degree program or equivalent combination of experience and education of at least 3-5 years in a related field
- Proven expertise in patient reimbursement services with both private and public payors
- Knowledge of biologics, specialty drugs or the pharmaceutical industry is preferred
- 3-5 years of experience in the healthcare sector, preferably in patient support programs or a pharmacy setting
MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:
- Excellent proficiency with all Microsoft Office applications.
- High level attention to detail.
- Able to respond/react with appropriate urgency/professionalism and make decisions under pressure.
- Positive, team-oriented attitude and approach at all times.
- Advanced ability to learn and understand new systems and software.
- Strong time management skills and multi-tasking abilities, ability to prioritize, organize and plan work.
- Ability to interpret large data sets and provide insights to the affected stakeholders.
- Strong verbal, written and analytical communication with the ability to communicate within cross-functional/organizational teams.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
