Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

We are looking for a Senior QA who will be responsible for identifying test scenarios and writing and executing test scripts for analytical dashboard and reporting testing. Evaluates risk and defects.  Conducts general root cause analysis.  Works independently within an established framework. 

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments

• At least bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or engineering
• Experience writing and maintaining integration test cases. 
• At least 2 years of experience in validating reports that are generated accurately from a large data set per the requirements. 
• At least 2 yrs of experience writing and maintaining detailed test cases that cover many different data elements.    
• At least 2 years of QA experience with reporting and analytical dashboard testing or data migration testing. 
• At least 1 year of experience in excel: Excel formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc

It would be great if you also had . . .

• Demonstrated history of isolating, reproducing, and tracking defects and verification of fixes with an emphasis on data integration. 
• Python Pandas is a plus. 
• Experience writing basic SQL queries is a plus. 
• Experience running automation jobs from Jenkins is a plus.

What will you be doing in this role?

• Design, implement, and execute test cases to validate the accuracy, completeness, and quality of data. 
• Review and analyze data mapping between source and target systems.
• Identifies risk and develops and implements mitigation plans under general supervision. 
• Estimates effort required for given story or task. 
• Provides inputs and escalates issues in bug triage meetings and coordinates with development team. 
• Conduct root cause analysis, escalating significantly complex issues as necessary.  
• Tracks and provides testing status to the project team. 
• Creates and maintains testing documentation.

The Shared Services Enterprise Systems QA team focuses on ensuring the quality of a large variety of projects like data warehouse reporting, data analytics, end to end integration, and admin system testing.  This involves functional testing, regression testing, automated testing, and continuous integration testing. A strong QA process leads to a more reliable product or service, which enhances the user experience and builds trust with customers. • 45hrs/week- 12 to 9 PM IST
