We are seeking a People & Mobility Manager primarily responsible for improving and managing our relocation processes, ensuring team members considering or undergoing relocation feel supported and comfortable. Once established, the role will broaden to include additional people management tasks including developing strategies to enhance team engagement, performance management, and career development.
The ideal candidate will be prepared to work full-time initially on relocation issues, and later combine this with other people management tasks. We are looking for someone with hands-on experience and a customer-focused approach, treating our team members as our most important customers, which will require exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Key Responsibilities:
Relocation & Mobility Management (primary focus):
- Take full ownership of developing and managing a structured, transparent relocation program, clearly detailing the resources and support mechanisms available to staff.
- Provide tailored support to team members by addressing their individual relocation needs and proactively offering solutions based on their specific circumstances.
- Investigate and identify optimal relocation locations, taking into account factors such as taxation, quality of life, cost of living, and potential risks like political stability, geographical challenges, and climate conditions.
- Actively gather feedback on relocation initiatives and lead the decision-making process to ensure continuous improvement.
- Improve internal written communication by expanding the knowledge base, including country guides, and maintaining structured, user-friendly documentation.
- Oversee relationships with vendors such as lawyers, accountants, and external relocation agencies and/or independent “helpers”, ensuring smooth and risk-free relocations. Continuously identify new vendors as necessary to improve the relocation process.
- Communicate effectively with technical specialists, ensuring clear guidance and smooth interactions, even with more reserved individuals.
People Management Projects (secondary focus):
- Assist with defining and refining frameworks for career progression within the Grade Review process.
- Support performance evaluation processes and continuous feedback culture as part of performance management.
- Assist in developing structured internship programs for early-career talent.
- Develop and implement initiatives to support employee mental health and overall well-being.
- Participate in other initiatives and projects, valuable for the teams well-being, depending on the teams priorities
- Experience in in-house employee-related positions (HR, internal communications, administrative roles, etc), with an interest or some exposure to relocation and mobility processes.
- Fluency in English (upper-intermediate or higher) and Russian is a must
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, ability to establish and maintain relationships with technical professionals, demonstrating sensitivity to varied communication styles.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Strong ability to multi-task and work well in an environment subject to changing priorities and demands
- Ability to work as a part of team as well as work independently, prioritizing and organizing workload to meet deadlines
- Ability to work within budget constraints.
