We are looking for a Senior Java Developer for the Java ELS team.
TuxCares Endless Lifecycle Support (ELS) for Spring provides security updates, system enhancement patches, and selected bug fixes, that are integral to the stable operation of applications running on these versions of Spring ecosystem components such as Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Security, etc. These components have either reached their end of standard support from vendors or have reached End of Life (EOL).
Our ELS for Spring service is designed to provide solutions for organizations that are not yet ready to migrate to newer versions and that are seeking long-term stability for their legacy Spring applications.

What will you do in this role:
- Your role will involve enhancing the security of Java and delving deep into its inner workings.
- Youll be tasked with conducting research and running experiments to expedite the assembly of Java packages.
- The fruits of your labour will be a more secure Java environment, facilitating the development work of others.
- Youll be investigating vulnerabilities in Java and Java libraries, particularly focusing on the most popular end-of-life versions of Java.
- Your responsibilities will also include improving automation processes that construct the dependency tree, automatically rebuilding projects, etc.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- 5+ years in software development.
- Proficient in Java Core and the Spring framework.
- Experience with NoSQL databases and PostgreSQL.
- Experience with Gitlab as CI/CD.
- Experience with repository management systems such as Nexus will be a plus.
