About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Director of Construction Management to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of our data center construction projects. The successful candidate will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Travel Required to various construction sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage construction management planning and execution, providing strategic direction and oversight.
  • Develop and implement construction management processes, standards, and best practices.
  • Oversee all phases of data center construction projects, from initial planning and design through to completion and commissioning.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including engineering, operations, and project management teams, to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.
  • Manage relationships with external contractors, vendors, and regulatory agencies.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and industry standards.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resources.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement within the construction management team.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to senior leadership on project status, risks, and opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in construction management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects, preferably in the data center or technology infrastructure sector.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and industry standards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, CCM, or similar) are a plus.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $190,000-$235,000. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
