ROLE SUMMARY

The Director, Operations Finance will provide financial support to the Covetrus North America Operations organization. Reporting to the VP Finance, In-Clinic and Operations, this role will lead finance business partnership with the Operations organization, including both distribution centers and pharmacies, and drive financial analytics and processes, including monthly reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and capital planning, to ensure the quality, accuracy, and timeliness of financial activities. They will monitor, track, and proactively report key performance metrics, identifying variances, opportunities, and risks to support the Operation’s strategy and investments. This role will also partner to drive the effective planning and communication of cross-functional programs that support Operation’s transformation initiatives.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

·        Monitor, track and proactively report monthly financial, cash flow and capital spending performance, identifying issues, opportunities, and challenges.

·        Leverage monthly financial results and key performance indicators, to prepare timely forecasts, and analyses for Operations leadership and senior management.

·        Ensure quality, accuracy, and timeliness of the monthly KPI reports, forecasts, and annual budget preparation.

·        Prepare and monitor annual budgets and monthly forecasts at the aggregate level and the site level (DCs and pharmacies).

·        Prepare financial and capital planning models to support future business investment decisions.

·        Enable Operations to meet its financial commitments by collaborating on programs and strategies.

·        Provide insightful financial /analytical to support strategic projects and business decisions.

 

QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

·        Bachelors degree required (Finance, Accounting or Business Administration preferred).

·        10+ years of experience, preferably in distribution and/or mail order pharmacy operational finance roles.

·        MBA and/or CPA.

·        Demonstrated financial acumen.

·        Excellent data and analytical skills with the ability to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers.

·        Ability to clearly communicate complex financial information in an easy-to-understand manner.

·        Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills.

·        Experience developing strategic presentations and executive communications.

·        Advanced financial modeling and data analytics experience using Office 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams), and Tableau and/or Alteryx.

·        Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

·        Organized and able to work on a variety of projects simultaneously.

·        Demonstrated business acumen to think strategically.

However, the pay range for this position is as follows. Sales Positions are eligible for a Variable Incentive

$126,200.00 - $234,400.00
