Compensation includes a base salary of $72,200.00 - $108,200.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. A Software Engineer I at Central Dispatch in Logistics applies the principles of secure software engineering to the design, development, maintenance, testing and evaluation of software and cloud infrastructure. Works cross functionally to understand business requirements, architecture and technology direction, evaluate alternative approaches and ensure software and systems are designed accordingly. Incorporates state-of-the-art concepts and practices to facilitate system functionality, scalability, resilience and security as well as ease-of-use (developer / user experience). Apply agile principles to software development with a focus on delivery of business value, collaboration, continuous improvement and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering Quality Code.
- Design and Architecture: Contribute to the design of scalable, reliable, and maintainable software systems.
- Development: Write high-quality, efficient, and maintainable code.
- Monitoring and Maintenance: Assist in maintaining and troubleshooting production systems.
- Execute Roadmap Deliverables: Contribute to the timely delivery of platform and application roadmap items.
- Develop Secure Solutions: Focus on building solutions that meet performance, scalability, and security requirements.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as 4 years’ experience in a related field
- Solid grasp of software development best practices and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Clear and effective communication skills, able to present technical details to a varied audience.
- A keen sense of team spirit, open-mindedness, and a genuine passion for software engineering.
