We are hiring a Disputes Supervisor to join our operations team at FleetNet Automotive. In this role, you will be at the forefront of resolving customer concerns in the fast-paced world of fleet management. You will dive into the heart of the matter as you research claims, assess repair costs, and skillfully negotiate adjustments.
What You will Do
You will lead and inspire a team of dedicated professionals navigating fleet operator/service provider interactions responsible for collaborating with internal teams and external partners to orchestrate fair & equitable resolutions to customer inquiries. This role will lead our Disputes operations, collaborate with IT and Business Process teams to design, build, integrate, and support dispute solutions, and drive continuous improvement.

- Supervise a team of dispute experts, ensuring smooth and efficient operations
- Ensures accurate, complete, and timely dispute processing
- Collaborate with IT and Business Process teams to design, build, integrate, and support dispute solutions for both internal and external customers
- Drive continuous process improvement, recommending and implementing steps to enhance efficiency and ensure flawless execution
- Prepare regular updates for management on billing and payment processes and status
- Review customer claims to verify that they meet FleetNet America policies and account-specific guidelines
- Investigate cases with increasing complexity that allow for prescriptive decision-making and require infrequent involvement from senior staff
- Prepare and facilitate communication for resolution via telephone, email, and in-person discussion
Who You Are
You are all about accuracy and your eye for detail is unmatched. Here is what else you’ll bring to the table:
- Understanding of Fleet Maintenance & Management, particularly heavy & medium duty fleets (Ex. Standard Repair Times, Service Intervals, Vehicle Components, etc.)
- Strong organizational and time management skills to simultaneously navigate multiple tasks, customers, and service providers
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
- Adaptable to a challenging environment with the ability to learn new software and process changes
Minimum:
- High School Diploma/GED and 5 years’ experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 3 years’ experience in a related field; a masters degree and 1 year of experience; or a Ph.D. and up to 1 year of experience
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite of Products
Preferred:
- Degree in related discipline strongly desired
- 3+ years of automotive, mechanical, and/or body shop
- Billing / AP / AR / call center experience
- Customer management system (CMS) familiarity
