Compensation includes a base salary of $65,500.00 - $98,300.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. * Candidates should reside in the ATL market and ideally you would have a hybrid skillset of data and business analyst experience.
The Workforce Strategy Analyst II is an individual contributor responsible for supporting Manheims strategic goals through data-driven workforce analytics and business process improvement. This role bridges analytical expertise with operational knowledge to optimize workforce planning, standardize processes, and enhance client experience across the auto auction business. You will leverage data models and analytical frameworks to identify opportunities, solve complex business problems, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
What You’ll Do
Gain a meaningful understanding of the Manheim business, the key drivers, and challenges within the operations ecosystem.
Present opportunities for labor utilization and efficiency improvements supported by data and process analysis.
Construct staffing models to assist leadership with real-time and strategic capacity management across our production functions.
Develop data visualizations and summarize insights that can be used to enable decision-making.
Collaborate with internal and industry partners to better understand demand trends and volume drivers.
Monitor and analyze key metrics, and execute recurring analyses and reporting related to ongoing standardization efforts.
Handle data preparation and data analysis portions of various process improvement and reporting projects.
Write, maintain, and update queries to develop analyses in response to requests from internal customers
Develop monitoring mechanisms for quality and data management purposes.
Build and sustain relationships with corporate stakeholders, operations, auctions, and regional teams to enable rapid feedback.
Obtain buy-in from stakeholders on solution design and direction.
Provide management with project status updates, feedback, and appropriate reporting on key responsibilities and objectives.
Promote project adoption, SOP practices, communities of practice, and continuous improvement culture across operating units.
Qualifications: What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 2 years experience in a related field with a focus on data analysis. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master’s degree and up to 2 years experience; or 6 years experience in a related field with a focus on data analysis.
Strong analytical skills supported by 3+ years of work experience.
An outgoing analyst who can operate autonomously in a low-structure environment.
Ability to build and leverage relationships with internal stakeholders and boundary partners.
Ability to write code in SQL, Python or other programming language to query data in both internal and external databases.
Experience utilizing ETL tools and with visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
Experience supporting operations in a production industry or environment.
General business knowledge and experience reading and building business cases.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in a workforce or capacity management analytical role or familiarity with related concepts.
Experience developing models in Excel or other modeling tools.
