Position Summary
The Manager of Supply Chain Insights and Analytics will be responsible for helping to advance reporting and analytical capabilities as we modernize and evolve our supply chain. The role will support stakeholder groups, including distribution network planning, inventory management, transportation, and DC operations in the development of dashboard reporting and visualization through standardizing critical business metrics, documenting needs, and creating dashboards that highlight key actionable insights. In this role, the manager will own evolving our reporting foundation to improve execution and increase the speed of action by stakeholder groups. The role will also have responsibility for growing our analytical capabilities to deliver business insights leveraged to drive strategy and measure progress against critical metrics. As the team evolves this role may become responsible for managing a team of one or more people.
Primary Responsibilities
Define critical metrics that drive the business and the supporting measures necessary to achieve success.
Identify and quantify data needs and gaps in current data collection which prevent automated dashboard efforts.
Develop dashboards and reporting utilized to track overall network effectiveness and progress on strategic initiatives.
Leverage analytics to identify opportunities across supply chain functions to drive action and support business case development.
Advance our supply chain capabilities to support data driven network optimization efforts.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 3 years prior experience querying large databases to transform data and develop relevant reporting (examples- SQL Developer, Teradata, Snowflake).
Minimum 2 years prior experience developing dashboards to drive action and business insights (examples – Tableau, PowerBI).
Minimum 2 years prior experience working with analytics, root cause analyses.
Minimum 2 years prior experience working independently, managing multiple assignments, and adjusting priorities to meet outcomes and deadlines.
Minimum 1 year of prior experience prioritizing work across stakeholders, managing conflicting priorities and timelines.
Preferred Qualifications
Functional knowledge of relational databases.
Ability to identify, compile, and manipulate data to complete root-cause analyses and answer customer questions.
Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
Proven ability to interact effectively with all levels within an organization.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Graphing using ThinkCell or similar tool.
Support projects by providing reporting and key data extracts from in-house databases and proprietary data analytics software (such as Incorta).
Ability to execute data validation.
Broad Supply Chain knowledge, familiarity with concepts such as planning, forecasting, transportation, inventory management, and warehouse operations.
Ability to join multiple data sources with systems such as R or Python.
Knowledge of data best practices, including data mart concepts
Highly motivated and a natural problem solver.
Familiarity with WMS, inventory management and labor systems & data.
Be agile, operate in ambiguity, and willing to take on special projects alongside day-to-day workstream ownership in a fast-paced environment.
Education
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$54,300.00 - $119,340.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
