Role Summary:

The Datavant People Operations Team is looking to add an experienced Director of HRIT to its team. The role will be integral to the People Team as a whole and will program manage the Transformation Program as well as having oversight and governance responsibility for all HR Projects providing guidance and coaching on Project Management best practices and setting project management standards. 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage and develop the HRIT team comprised of HRIS analysts.
  • Manage the relationship with our external Partner (technical team).
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive HRIT strategy that aligns with the organization’s broader HR, IT, and business objectives.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between HR, IT, Compliance, Risk and other departments to ensure smooth communication and collaboration on HR technology initiatives. This includes ongoing Compliance, Data Privacy, Security.  
  • Stay abreast of HR technology trends and innovations, making recommendations for continuous improvement and optimization of HR systems.
  • Oversee the configuration, implementation, and integration of HR software and systems.
  • Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across HR systems and databases. This will include the development and ongoing ownership of Data Quality.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement within HR operations using technology solutions.

  • Ensure HR systems support robust reporting capabilities to comply with regulatory requirements and internal governance policies.
  • Analyze HR data to identify trends and opportunities for business improvement.
  • Ensure HR technology systems are compliant with data privacy regulations, including GDPR, HIPAA, and other relevant laws.
  • Develop and deliver training programs for HR staff and end-users to ensure effective use of HR technology systems.
  • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for HR systems users to resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on HRIT systems, tools, and best practices for the organization.

What you will bring to the table: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in HR technology, including at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing HRIS or HRIT teams.
  • Extensive experience in HRIS/HRIT systems (e.g., Oracle HCM, Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, UKG, etc.) and integration with other enterprise systems.
  • Proven track record of successful system implementations, maintenance and development in an HR context.
  • Strong knowledge of HR processes, systems, and best practices, including employee lifecycle, payroll, benefits administration, talent management, performance management, learning and development and talent acquisition.
  • Advanced technical skills related to HRIS administration, system integration, and data analysis.
  • Strong leadership:  team management and team development abilities with experience in driving change and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments and levels within the organization.

Bonus points if:

  • 2+ years’ experience in Oracle HCM

Individual rates for the same job title may differ based on their level, responsibilities, skills, and experience for a specific job. The estimated salary range for this role is $175,000-$220,000.
