Overview
As the Collateralized Loan Obligation (CLO) Bank Services, you will be responsible for maintaining the Solvas database and the JIRA queue initiated by the Client Service cash teams. You will work closely with internal support staff, CLO Reporting Specialists, Portfolio Accounting Analysts, including external clients and agent banks to facilitate the setup and maintenance of syndicated bank loan facilities for the CLO Trust Group. You must have a deep understanding of Bank Loans (Broadly Syndicated + Middle Market), CLOs and other complex fixed income structures; You will manage day to day operational activities while monitoring controls such as break reports, contract reports, ClearPar settlement reports and other MIS designed to optimize the quality of the Solvas database. You must have the ability to identify procedural gaps and recommend controls/solution/automation to mitigate risk. You will optimize the team’s workload using internally developed tools.

What You’ll Do
Primary escalation for data integrity issues within the Solvas database
Communicate with internal clients, agent banks, investment managers and middle office groups
Supervise the work of each team member to ensure staff is following all Internal Key Operating Procedures
Oversee the team’s handling of tickets within the JIRA database
Management of staff performing ClearPar settlements
Close interaction with Deutsche Bank Senior Management, Operations, Group Audit, Analytics, Legal and other internal stakeholders
How You’ll Lead
Senior Management – Must be able to succinctly communicate with high level leaders within the organization
Clients – Must understand the mechanics of bank loan facilities and be able to work closely with the internal Reporting and Cash teams
Analytics/Information Technology (IT) – Must be able to identify operational bottleneck and work together with IT/Analytics to develop and implement a solution
Skills You’ll Need
BA/BS, preferably in Accounting, Finance, Business or Economics
Extensive experience with CLO of bank loans, Moderate experience managing medium-size teams
General understanding of structured credit products
Expert understanding of Solvas|Portfolio
Strong experience with Markit ClearPar and Markit Notice Manager
Skills That Will Help You Excel
Competent in all MS Office products
Advanced MS Excel abilities - Comfortable with complex formulas and modelling techniques
Strong written/verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills
Fluent in English
Expectations
It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Santa Ana office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in California is $80,000 to $130,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of renumeration.
